G3P is a Denver-based progressive rock power trio founded in 2019. All music is original with a wide variety of artist and genre influences; however, the sound is all our own. Song lyrics span from dead serious to quirky. Song structure covers the spectrum from straight 4/4 simple to multi-meter/multi-tempo complex, wrapped in a unique blend born out of full collaboration.
Todd (TC) Caron (guitar, vocals) is a graduate of both Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, CA, and Music Tech in Minneapolis, MN. TC has played in Denver based bands such as 1000cc’s and Skapegoat. He also toured around the U.S. in the 80’s with Under Fire.
Tom Sowa (bass, keyboards, vocals) has played with Chicago/Midwest bands Prophet and Mad Dog, and in Colorado has played with Core, Trickshot and now G3P in the Denver area. Influences are Rush, Tool, Dream Theater and many others.
Dean McCall (drums, vocals) has played all genres of music with a more recent focus on progressive rock and jazz/rock fusion. He has played live and in studio on the east coast, in Los Angeles, and Colorado with over 25 bands, most notably Medusa, and Death & Taxe$.
