When we divvied up the songs between our first album Organized Chaos and this our second album, we realized that the lyrics for this album are about sex, drinking, and dysfunction. Guy stuff with some emotional vulnerability tucked in. Misogyny is not quite the right term, but as soon as the word Debauchery came up it stuck. Whereas Organized Chaos was Tom’s fault, Debauchery is mostly Todd’s fault. Given the crazy timing and meters coming in the third/next album, it will be Dean’s fault. So we’ll have an equitable distribution of fault across the first three albums. We’ll have to find the culprit for the fourth. Maybe Diesel.

But seriously… for us, Debauchery is an idea, not a lifestyle. A lyrico-socio-historical look into testosterone’s eye, colored by the push and pull of the limbic system. We’re human, and we’re guys. We admit it. But we also respect and have high regard for women. We know they debauch like we do, but they bring and have always brought a lot to the world and we’re not implying otherwise.

But for now, a toast to consensual human activity, however ribald, promiscuous, or kinky. We are all made of some really cool shit and we should embrace it unabashedly.

Preview clips are below. Download gets you the full songs... Organized Chaos is G3P's debut album. The title reflects our collective mindset when we were writing, and the outcome(s) of that writing. We enlisted Conifer, CO (USA) artist Alexandra Kallander to create the cover art.

The band started just before the pandemic, so there was little rush to get out and play. A couple of us brought in existing songs but before long we were writing together, rather prodigiously. A pattern developed in that we almost always take up new ideas and seldom turn them away, which meant 1) we get fairly unconventional at times, 2) we don’t take ourselves seriously, and 3) we tend to complicate songs at the drop of a hat (The working title for this album, as a result, was “why do we do this to ourselves?” because that’s what we kept asking each other. And then we’d laugh, assign blame for the transgression, and keep writing.) We also have a policy of not recording anything we can’t play at a gig. Complicated? Nah. Well, maybe.

Bottom line – this shit is fun. And it stretches our chops
